I’m stepping down for my ADC Counterpart Abraham Godson because of his proven track records – AA Abia Central Senatorial Candidate Ubani

The Senatorial Candidate of Action Alliance, AA, Abia Central Senatorial District for 2023 election, Rev Dennis Iheanyichukwu Ubani has stepped down for the African Democratic Congress ADC candidate, Hon Dr John Abraham Godson.

The AA Senatorial Candidate who made this known to newsmen in Umuahia said he took the decision because of glaring track records of achievements of the ADC Senatorial candidate noting that there was no monetary transaction agreement but that he willingly decided to step for a most credible and competent candidate than himself.

According to him, after going through the profilelof the ADC Abia Central Senatorial District candidate, as a former first black parliamentarian in the Polish Parliament, coupled with his rich academic records and achievements, he swallowed the humble pie especially when he looked at candidates of other parties jostling for the same position, he discovered that the ADC candidate was the most credible and qualified candidate.

Rev Ubani pointed out the forthcoming election is not going to be business as usual, as political parties will no longer be playing any mayor role but the candidate’s antecedents, capacity, competence and integrity will be the determining factors in electing those to represent people.

He noted with dismay that since 201 5, the Senatorial District has not been able to get quality representation but however expressed optimism that the ADC Abia Central Senatorial candidate will reverse the ugly trend if voted into office.
